Part of the Awonoyoh Shibori subscription, the Taka Ishii 04 pattern reminds me of the scales of a Coy fish.
For this piece I used white linen and dyed in my Indigo vat 10 times. The sewing of the pattern was simple enough, but the size of this piece made wrapping and dipping into Indigo a bit of a challenge. It was worth it at the end, and through the process I learned ways to adjust so the next time I will have an easier time.
