About the Workshop
Step into the world of indigo and discover the beauty of resist and Shibori dyeing. In this hands-on, beginner-friendly workshop, you’ll explore simple techniques of folding, binding, clamping, and stitching to create striking patterns on cloth. Using a prepared natural indigo vat, we’ll dip our fabrics and watch as they emerge in shades of luminous blue.
No experience is needed — just curiosity and a willingness to play with cloth, thread, and color. Each participant will leave with a collection of indigo-dyed samples (and an optional silk scarf) that carry both the marks of tradition and your own hand.
✨ Perfect for artists, makers, and anyone interested in sustainable, slow craft.
